Boosting capacity of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and promoting new skills training, representatives of the non-governmental sector are welcome to participate in a three-seminar series on communication, cooperation with the media and the public.
The seminars will take place on 8, 22 November and 6 December from 16.00 to 18.00 at the exhibition hall of the Liepāja Art, Music, and Design High School, at Alejas Street 18.
Please be advised that registration for the seminars requires full attendance of all three sessions.
During the seminar, we will share practical tips on choosing the targeted audience and the corresponding message, information channelling options in the city of Liepāja and at the national level, accurate and appealing messages for the media and the public, establishing meaningful and trustful symbiosis with communication partners, do’s, and don'ts of interacting with journalists, etc.
The practical seminar series will be led by Zita Lazdāne, Head of the Public Relations and Marketing Department of the Liepaja City Municipality Central Administration, with more than 20 years of experience in the communications industry – both in traditional and digital media, advertising and public relations agency, and as head marketing and public relations of the Liepāja Municipality for the last eight years.
