The Poetry Days programme in Liepāja

On 7 September at 19.00 at the "Civita Nova" Art Space of the "Great Amber" Concert Hall, a concert by Daumants Kalniņš paying tribute to the work of poet Imants Ziedonis will launch the Poetry Days programme in Liepāja. The Poetry Day events in Liepāja will take place from 7 to 16 September. This year's programme will be unified by the poetry art of Imants Ziedonis, under the theme "Times are not important. A person is important".

The Poetry Days programme, including activities such as poetry readings, meetings with creative personalities and musical events, is organised by Liepāja libraries, Liepāja Museum, the Liepāja branch of the Latvian Writers' Union and other cultural venues in cooperation with the Liepāja Culture Department.
