The Fellowship of Liepāja and Regional NGOs is organising the first MeetUp event

The Fellowship of Liepāja and Regional NGOs is announcing its first MeetUp event, scheduled for April 30, 2024, at 15:00, hosted at ImpactHub Liepāja, located at Strautu iela 4.

Open to all active residents of Liepāja and the surrounding region, as well as members of NGOs, this event aims to bridge the gap between virtual networking and real-world cooperation. The MeetUp seeks to facilitate deeper connections and create new opportunities for collaboration and project development.

Active discussions will be led and moderated by experienced leaders in the field, including Vita Liepiņa from LIAA Liepāja, Maija Jankovska from Liepāja2027 and Kurzeme NGO, Staņislavs Babins from Radi Vidi Pats, and Ilze Šķietniece, a journalist from "IR" magazine.

The event will be moderated by Barbara Freiberga, Head of the Liepāja Residency and Culture Centre.

Program highlights:

Speed-dating interactive communication moderated by Staņislavs Babins.

Discussions, where participants will be able to share their experience and thoughts on better networking, look at the challenges and opportunities for NGOs in the fields of economy, sustainability, community engagement and culture with experienced discussion moderators Vita Liepiņa, Maija Jankovska, Staņislavs Babins and Ilze Šķietniece.

The Fellowship of Liepāja and Regional NGOs is a Facebook platform dedicated to promoting cooperation and support among NGOs in Liepāja and its surrounding areas. With a membership of approximately 100 individuals, our group aims to foster a supportive environment where organizations can work together towards common goals and objectives.

This event is organized by the association "Liepāja Residency and Culture Centre" as part of the Liepāja NGO Incubator initiative and is supported by the Municipality of Liepāja and ImpactHub Liepāja.
