In an effort to keep Ukrainian residents updated on the city’s latest affairs, as well as on various issues of national importance, we will be holding the third Ukrainian dialogue evening on Thursday, 5 January, at 17.00 at 96A Klaipēdas Street.
The third meeting will focus on job opportunities, state support upon starting a job, as well as benefits and pensions. We invited experts from the State Employment Agency and the State Social Insurance Agency to join us at this discussion as well.
The topics of the meetings are chosen by the attendees themselves depending on the concerns they have during their stay in Latvia. Previously, we have spoken about Latvia’s national holidays and the healthcare system and its accessibility for Ukrainian nationals.
After the discussion, we will take a look at the culture events in January, as well as engage in a dialogue with each other and plan the content of the next meeting.
The municipality plans to organise these dialogue evenings for Ukrainian nationals on a monthly basis.
