Until 7 August, the Liepāja City Education Department is calling for applications for state funding to organise Ukrainian and Latvian children and youth camps during the period until 1 November 2023.
Camps are to provide support for Ukrainian children and youth to learn the Latvian language and improve their psycho-emotional well-being by integrating with Latvian children and young people, boosting communication and interpersonal skills through Latvian language lessons, creative, environmental education, sports, healthy lifestyle, etc. activities and events. Camp participants – Latvian, Ukrainian children and young people from 1st to 12th grade.
The application includes a completed project application form, a cost estimate, a list of participants and a report on the camp and the use of funding.
